The Inspiration of a Mountain Meadow

Art by Vonnie
This painting was created for my mother, Essine. She owns the original. I thought of her softness and unending road of unconditional love. She loves simple pleasures in life just like this
rolling mountain meadow. I felt very peaceful painting this piece.

Vonnie, I can't tell you how much I enjoy looking at my Mountain Meadow print matted in a lovely ~Creme Brulee pastel yellow and framed in a ~Valencia styled white washed frame in my California Lilac powder room. Reading how you described your calm and peace while painting it is exactly the feeling I have each and every time I look at it. I'm so blessed to have your paintings in my home! Thanks for using the talent and gift God gave you! Love ya! ~CC

Mon chere amie Vonnie, Although I have known you since we were young girls,I love your blog and the glimpse into who you are evolving into...much love and peace, we both have exhausted ourselves with that journey, but it looks like you know where to look for renewal...flowers are so beautiful and so are your thoughts and expressions in your paintings, quotes, inspiration...you might like these lines from a William Wordsworth poem, "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud":

I WANDER'D lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Votre amie, Joye

About Me

United States
Let's see, I love beautiful things. I love to express my soul through my paintings. Singing is a huge part of who I am. I love people...I come to life when I'm connected to others. I have alot of love and compassion for animals. Good healthy food is very important to me. My husband has blue eyes and a nice size head. His forehead is high, which I am told, means a high level of intelligence! We have two beautiful dogs, Sadie and Anuk. Maintaining good stable mental health is important to me because I tend to go out into left field and maybe off the map every once in a while. Don't YOU? Enough about me...
